Dentist Q&A!

On March 25, 2022, Dr. Hill, a local dentist with her own private dental practice and fellow students parent came and spoke to our class about her career. Dr. Hill explained how she opened her own practice and employed her own workers. She also told us how she made her own hours and and sometimes come in whenever she has a special case which needs more time. She explained how long it took her to become a dentist including education like college and dental school and she also had to do a residency at a dentist office. She also explained how there are may types of dentist such as a periodontist or general dentist which she is. This lecture taught me how important dentistry is in healthcare!
