On November 9, 2021, more Spring Hill Nursing Students came and lectured our class about how important exercise is to help prevent obesity. They asked us many questions like how much screen time we use a week or if we participate in sports. It was really eyeopening to see how much time my peers and I spend on our phones. The nurses also told us the many benefits to exercise such as getting better sleep, reduction in health risks, and improved brain function. Some of the disadvantages of physical inactivity are energy imbalances, increased risk of obesity, and high cholesterol.
