Meat Intake with Spring Hill Students!

On November 2, 2021, Three Spring Hill nursing students came and lectured our class about how too much meat is bad for you and your nutrition as it is linked with heart disease, cancer, and an early onset death. The biggest concerns aren't around all meat but mostly red meats such as pork and beef. The healthiest to eat are fish and chicken and should be consumed more than red meats. A heavy meat intake can really increase your risk for being overweight and obese. Even after all the disadvantages, it still has lots of bioavailability and you still need to eat no more than 85 grams per meal.
