Suture Lab!

On March, 22, 2023, Mr. Justin Edmondson, our school nurse's husband, and his 4th grade daughter, Kat, came and taught our class about suturing techniques and supplies. Mr. Edmondson is a Physicians Assistant at a local hospital ER, and is also a health simulation instructor at our local university! He teaches suturing courses and also helps with patient care simulations, his daughter, Kat, comes along with him to teach classes and has even learned how to suture! This lab was really fun and it was really interesting to learn about the different types of needle and thread used for different types of sutures!
